Who We Are:
Langley Student Ministries desires to be a relevant, safe, and Christ-centered environment for middle school and high school students.
We accomplish this by connecting students with God and positive influences, equipping them for a life of ministry, and serving the needs of students.
We do this because we value:
- God-honoring relationships
- Spiritual growth
- Bible-centered and relevant teaching
What We Do:
LSM offers weekly bible studies on Wednesday nights from 7-8 pm. We try to keep our topics relevant to the society students live in, while also maintaining Biblical truths.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever wanted to scream, “You’re not the boss of me!” (You can also raise your hand if you have, in fact, actually screamed it.) Especially when we’re teenagers, we tend to push back on the people, places, and things that control and hold authority over us. But here’s the catch: whether we admit it or not, we’ve all given someone (or something) control of our lives. In this 4-week series, you’ll challenge students to consider who, or what, they’ve allowed to be their boss. Because whether it’s the god of me, the god of stuff, the god of worry, or the god of obsession, we all know what it’s like to have an authority problem.
We also offer the LSM Lounge. The LSM Lounge is a place for students to come after school to do homework, play games, and have fun from 4:30-6 pm every Wednesday during the school year! Students are invited to stick around for a fellowship meal and bible study following LSM Lounge.
Starting June 23rd, we'll be changing our main group night to Sunday with the kickoff our brand new youth service, Connect! We'll be meeting from 6-8 pm, so be sure to set a reminder for that change!
