Derek Robinson

Lead Pastor

I was born in Indiana, raised in Ohio and led to Virginia. I am blessed with my amazing wife, Christy, two great sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. I grew up a preacher’s kid attending a church near Cincinnati where my dad served as Youth Minister. After high school, I began doing trade work, beginning as a painter. I transitioned to carpentry where I worked as a journeyman carpenter through the union. Over the years, this led to running my own home repair business.

I began attending Langley in the fall of 2000 and became active in serving and teaching with the youth group. During this time, I was blessed to be a part of many youth events, retreats, camps, and mission trips. Through the years at LCC, I was also blessed to serve as a deacon and an Elder.  In growing under some great men of God, I was ordained as a minister in the fall of 2009, after which I began serving as Langley’s full-time Youth Minister. In the fall of 2015, I transitioned to the role of Lead Minister for Langley.  It is a tremendous blessing to grow and serve our LORD with His Family here at Langley Christian Church.

Rob Hendrickson

Elder

I married my wife Judy and moved to Hampton in 1987. We have three children, Krista, David, and Michael, and two grandchildren. I was immersed in the Lord in 1988 at Langley Christian Church and began serving Him. I own and operate a small business. My favorite scripture is Psalm 1.

Chris Nayadley

Elder

I was born and raised right here in Hampton, VA. My wife, Cindy, and I have three daughters. I have been working at Arc3 Gases since 1988, currently as manager of the Toano Store. I have been a part of Langley Christian Church since 1980. Over these years I have served in various leadership roles and served on several mission trips with our youth, as well as our adults. Currently, I am serving as the chairman of the Elders. God has given me a passion to serve others.
